**What does Abby SEO check?** Abby runs 30+ checks across four categories. Technical: robots.txt, sitemaps, canonicals, noindex traps, redirect chains. On-page: titles, descriptions, headings, alt text, schema, internal linking, readability. Performance: LCP, TBT, CLS, TTFB, image sizing, render-blocking resources (lab-measured). Trust: contrast, landmarks, author schema, freshness signals.

**Is the scan really free?** Yes. The scan and the summary report are free with no signup. The $8.99 charge is only for the full remediation guide with platform-specific fix instructions and the patched code snippets.

**How long does a scan take?** Typically 30 to 60 seconds for a single URL, depending on page weight and how many resources have to be fetched.

**Do I need to install anything?** No. Abby fetches your site over HTTP the same way Googlebot does. Nothing to add to your site, no JavaScript snippet, no plugin.

**What is in the paid remediation report?** Every issue found, ranked by severity, with the exact line of code (or CMS setting) to change, written for the platform you're actually on. Includes copy-pasteable replacement snippets and a re-scan link to verify the fixes worked.
